I have now been here twice and both times were great! I love the outdoor tables, they all have great shade. The second time I went I sat indoors which was also nice because it was near the open garage doors so there was a nice breeze. The first time I went I sat outdoors and it was weekday so the service was fast! The second time it was on the weekend so the service was a bit slower but the waitress was sweet. The burger was so good, I got both times!!

First visit to this St. Paul eatery. Very cute and spacious restaurant that opens on the front to the street. The weather was perfect and it made for a delightful indoor/outdoor experience. Service was wonderful and the food was delightful. Caesar salad was fresh and plentiful. And the baked French onion soup was some of the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommend!

Went to A-Side for the first time yesterday and LOVED it! It is in a converted firehouse and in nice weather they open the garage doors so you get to enjoy the breeze while being out of the sun. They also have a patio as well. Overall this place has a terrific ambiance. The menu isn't big but has a great range of choices including some tasty appetizers. We started with a couple of very well-crafted cocktails and the charcuterie board which was one of the best I've had in a while. Beautiful cheeses, quality fruits, nuts, and jams. It also included some French Saucisson, smoked salmon and a wonderful pate. We also ordered their side of French bread which was good as well and came with a whipped rosemary-sea salt butter. We then decided to share the French Onion Steak Sandwich with fries. The beef was incredible! Very flavorful and tender, plenty of cheese and fresh greens too on a soft roll. Definitely a knife and fork sandwich however. Between the atmosphere, great service and well-prepared quality food this was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

Cute spot for breakfast! We got the American breakfast which had quite a lot of egg. The toast is buttered well and crispy bacon. The eggs Benedict was a great consistency. The Dutch pancake was a favorite, with berries and whipped cream. We are looking forward to trying dinner soon.

We found it! An incredible Salad Lyonnaise here in St Paul! My friend and colleague has been telling me about A Side so I finally checked it out. Was highly impressed. We shared the wings (amazing) and I had the salad lyonnaise and the steak sandwich. All were delicious and would order again. He also had the vegetable pot pie and said it was great (it looked fantastic). All that plus 3 cocktails and our total was just $100 The service here was attentive without being overbearing and the ambiance was perfect for a quiet conversation with an old friend. Will definitely be back!

We popped in for a late lunch but landed during brunch which was a bonus. The place is nice and bright with ample seating. We opted to share a couple of things. The cheeseburger and fries were awesome. The oven pancake was good too but the Aperol Spritz could have used a splash more Prosecco. The service was fast and friendly. Enjoyable meal, we'll be back.

I loved the historic fire station turned into a restaurant! It had an amazing esthetic of brick walls with huge open glass doors that allows for so much light in the restaurant. I went for brunch and the service was great. The sausage biscuits and gravy were my favorite. The food was delicious & I loved their specialty coffees and cocktails! Easy parking with a parking lot to the side of the restaurant!
